Terms of service
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms apply when you connect a Facebook Page, Instagram account or LinkedIn profile or page through an app or service that works with Sharebee. They come in addition to the terms of that service. The Dutch version is the original; this is a translation.
Who we are
Sharebee is a service of uniekwerk B.V. (Chamber of Commerce 65116453), Oudestraat 216M, 8261 CA Kampen, the Netherlands, reachable at info@uniekwerk.nl. In these terms we call that 'we'. 'You' means the person who makes a connection, and the organisation on whose behalf that person does so.
How these terms relate to the service you work with
You do not use Sharebee on its own, but through an app or online service that works with Sharebee. Your use of that service is governed by its own terms. These terms add to those for connecting and publishing. If they conflict, that service's terms prevail, except for the handling of data from Meta: there these terms and our privacy policy prevail.
Who may connect
- You only connect Pages and accounts you are allowed to manage, or for which the owner has given you permission.
- An Instagram account must be a business or creator account linked to a Facebook Page. That is an Instagram requirement.
- You can only connect a LinkedIn page if you are an administrator of it.
- You are at least 18 years old, or you connect on behalf of an organisation that has authorised you.
What you allow us to do
By connecting, you allow us to publish posts on your behalf to the Pages and accounts you chose. We only publish what you or your organisation prepared, scheduled or had scheduled in the service according to the arrangements made there. We use the connection for nothing else.
Your content
- You remain the owner of the posts, photos and videos you publish. You only give us the right to publish and display them as far as the service requires.
- You are responsible for the content. It must comply with the law and with the rules of Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, such as their community standards. You hold the rights to what you publish, including photos and music.
- If we believe a post breaks the law or those rules, we may refuse to publish it. We will let you know.
Availability
Sharebee works through the systems of Meta and LinkedIn. If either has an outage, changes its rules, withdraws a permission or invalidates a connection, a post may be published late or not at all. We do our best to notice this quickly and tell you what to do, for example reconnect. We cannot guarantee that every post appears at the scheduled time.
Disconnecting
You can disconnect at any time: in the service you work with, or by removing Sharebee in your Facebook or LinkedIn settings. How that works and what we then erase is described on data deletion. We may end a connection if you do not comply with these terms, if Meta or LinkedIn asks us to, or if the service you work with stops using Sharebee.
Costs
You pay us nothing for Sharebee. What you pay for the service you work with, you agree with that service.
Liability
Our liability is limited to direct damage and to at most 500 euros per event. In addition, we are not liable for damage caused by Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn not working, refusing a post or invalidating a connection, nor for the content of posts that you or your organisation prepared. This does not apply in case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.
Changes
We may change these terms, for example when we add a channel or when Meta or LinkedIn changes its rules. The date of the latest version is always shown at the top. We announce material changes in advance through the service you work with, or on this site. If you do not agree, you can disconnect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If we cannot resolve a dispute together, it will be submitted to the District Court of Overijssel, unless the law designates another court.
